The colonial experiment in Africa relied heavily on the destruction of African history. It sought to erase collective memory, our connection to the land, and our ways of life, replacing them with a Westernised idea of success and happiness. This painting acts as a catalyst for that conversation—a visual map tracing where we come from to where we are.
